About the Role:

The Senior Scientific Manager role will be a member of the Science team at Click. In this role, you will manage and contribute to the development and validation of digital therapeutics for serious mental and physical illnesses. This role is highly collaborative, and the ideal candidate should be passionate about clinical science innovation and the potential of digital therapeutics to help people in need. This role will report to the Associate Director of Clinical Science.

Generally positions at Click can be on-site, remote or hybrid (an optimal combination of remote and on-site). Our headquarters is located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We also have dedicated spaces in central Miami, San Francisco, and Boston, and, in addition, via our partnership with Industrious, any Click employee can access co-working locations nationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee therapeutic development of digital treatments for serious mental illnesses, such as depression and schizophrenia, in close collaboration with other cross-functional leads.
  • Manage clinical scientists responsible for digital therapeutic development.
  • Maintain familiarity with scientific literature to identify novel opportunities for digital therapeutics.
  • Represent the clinical science team in collaborations with global development partners.
  • Mange and design and conduct exploratory research projects to optimize the treatment and related product features.
  • Contribute to business development opportunities in collaboration with a cross-functional team.
  • Support scientific communications by presenting results at conferences and seminars.
  • Guide the professional development of direct reports.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Science, or M.D. in Psychiatry.
  • Expertise in the treatment of serious mental illness and or medically complex conditions.
  • At least two years of experience building, optimizing, or evaluating digital health interventions.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • At least 2 years of post-doctoral experience.
  • Tech savvy with confidence in the transformative potential of software as treatments.
  • Record of scientific publication and presentation.
