About the Role:

The Testing Senior Manager takes full responsibility for testing aspects of multi-year global business transformation and ERP solution implementation. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort. 

 

Your responsibilities include: 

  • Developing comprehensive testing strategy for complex multi-year business transformation program deploying system solutions across a variety of technologies including SAP S4HANA, GTS, Ariba, BW and HANA Enterprise. 
  • Strategy and implementation of test automation tools across the program to cover system and regression testing 
  • Partnering with validation team to ensure testing approach and outcomes addresses non-medical device, SOX, privacy, and other regulatory requirements as applicable 
  • Building up and leading the Testing Team to the success of project 
  • Working across the product and enabling teams to define the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery including 
    • Unit testing 
    • System and integration testing 
    • User Acceptance testing 
    • Performance and DR testing 
    • Data migration and cutover 
    • Security and controls 
  • Deploying and managing resources for functional testing , automation and performance testing 
  • Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team 
  • Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort
  • Support with the testing related to the Supply Chain business process activities on SAP project integration of client’s along with the implementation of a new supply & distribution model in Europe
  • Author Test Scripts
  • Link the business requirements to the Scripts
  • Assist UAT Coordinator, as directed
  • Be the point of contact for questions on HP ALM execution and test execution
  • Maintain an issue log, triage the issues raised and route to the appropriate person
  • Author Training Materials/Work Instructions/Job Aids on overall testing process, tools, templates etc.
  • Organize / Participate in the various Program and IT status meetings and working sessions
  • Working closely with the UAT Coordinator to ensure alignment with the project milestones. Support Business with UAT execution
  • Ensure implementation and compliance of testing processes in the project as per business directions and design Standard operating processes
  • Provide Industry best practice solutions for various Testing cycles
  • Creating and reviewing key testing deliverables like Test Planning, Test Strategies, test summary, requirement traceability matrix etc. Effort estimation, resource onboarding, task assignment, escalation & conflict management, resource offboarding, client communication etc. 
  • Lead Test Design and Building test scenarios to perform System Integration Testing (Informal and Formal) and Regression testing
  • Defect management activities includes tracking defects, facilitate daily defect meetings, setting up clear action owners and ETAs, following up with various teams to ensure defect resolution, providing various defect reports and matrix and identify improvement levers
  • Raising Risks and issues at an early stage and recommend mitigation
  • Daily status reporting with key highlights, challenges, issues, action owners, ETA
  • Tracking planned vs actual test execution and resolving showstoppers to avoid any deviation
  • Documenting known issues in project release notes along with their next steps and plan
  • Leading and managed complex Manual, Automation, and performance Test Projects
  • Assessing existing processes, finding gaps, and implementing new processes
  • Setup testing benchmarks and ensure improvement over regular intervals

 

What we’re looking for: 

Required Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have an overall 10 -15 Years of experience as a Test Manager with at least 5 years of experience in Leading SAP Testing for Medical Device / Pharma / Biotech companies in managing SAP global rollout testing
  • Candidate must have experience in controlled/validated (GxP, SOX, etc) testing methodologies in Life Science/Pharma industries
  • Must have IQ-OQ-PQ experience
  • Candidate should have TOSCA automation experience
  • Candidate should be able to travel globally as required to manage various phases and cycles of the testing
  • Must have experience managing multi-vendor implementations
  • The ability to demonstrate a depth of understanding and skills in Test Management, establishing Testing process, driving testing stage gate meetings, defect triage meetings, and hands-on experience in writing Testing Strategies and Test Plans
  • Would have participated in at least 1 successful end-to-end SAP S/4 for Lifescience Company implementation
  • Ability to understand Medical Device business requirements and produce best practice Testing artifacts
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in writing Test Strategies and Test Plans for SAP S/4 Lifescience practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of integration with various applications such as SFDC, ARIBA, GTS, EWM, Hyperion and other Management Systems
  • Knowledge of MDMS Integrations and Legacy applications with Medical Devices and driving end-to-end testing

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in any of the following areas of SAP with functional background is a plus: Device and Field Inventory (DM), Billing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, CRM, Service Management (SM), and Quality Management (QM)
