We are seeking a VP of Business Development to join us on our mission to improve the lives of patients who live with neurological disorders. In this role, you will drive business partnerships and corporate acquisitions, help determine corporate strategy, analyze internal financial metrics and performance, and collaborate with our existing finance team members on financial statement compilation.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to join our core team to help shape the future of our company. You will collaborate across all levels of the company and have daily contact with our executive team. You will work closely with our CEO, President, and CFO.

 

This position will be based in our NYC office and is for full-time employment. We are unable to consider applicants who are not currently in the US.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading business development activities including corporate partnerships, acquisitions, corporate strategy, and strategic investments.
  • Ongoing financial modeling and analysis of critical metrics and business trends including business plans and forecasts.
  • Generating timely intelligence and surveillance to assist in business development goals, including writing of research reports and case studies.
  • Identifying operational issues and producing recommendations for effective solutions.
  • Assessing key value drivers, risks, and synergies related to potential transactions.
  • Preparation and presentation of management and board-level documents.

 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance/analytics role in a corporate environment, management consulting, and/or investment banking.
  • Experience in a medical device or life science company.
  • Strong modeling and valuation skills as well as deep knowledge of accounting.
  • Experience writing research reports and case studies for companies and industries.
  • A self-starter who enjoys working to challenging deadlines.
  • A great collaborator who seeks to work with a high-performing, close-knit team.
