Pison is creating the next generation of neural interfaces that focus on gesture recognition and neurophysiological insights. Job Summary:
As Hardware Technician you will be responsible to take overall responsibility to run our development lab. You will wear multiple hats in performing electronics rework, mechanical fixture development, as well as supporting electrical and mechanical engineers in product development and bench testing.
Due to our work with the United States government, US citizenship is mandatory.
This position is located in our Boston, MA office. We are a hybrid work environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Highly skilled using laser cutters, 3d printers, soldering workstations, and general workshop tools.
- Expert in soldering rework
- Mechanical ability to build small fixtures
- Flexible, fast learner who wants to keep busy on multiple tasks
Education and Experience:
- Electronics engineering technician program or associates degree
Responsibilities
- PCB board rework.
- Assemble, test, and track units for new employees.
- Managing internal inventory and order parts as needed.
- Perform experiments using lab equipment (i.e. IPX7 tests, electrical measurements, temperature testing)
- Support test fixture, prototype, and QA fixture design and manufacturing.
- Maintain and organize of electronics and mechanical lab. Responsible for calibration management.
- Pre-production assembly of newly-designed devices and tools.
- Maintenance of demos.
- Support of “Hardware Services”, data collection.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Physical Requirements:
