Position Overview
Telemynd is looking for licensed psychiatrists to collaborate with board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHMP) to provide quality, individualized psychopharmacological treatment to our growing network of patients. Today, Telemynd works with over one thousand licensed clinicians and prescribers across all 50 states who serve patients via our behavioral health platform.
As a Collaborating Physician, you will consult at least two times per month with each PMHMP you collaborate with via virtual or in-person meetings and follow all state regulations related to oversight, direct consultation, chart reviews, and other collaboration expectations.
Collaborator Responsibilities and Position Requirements:
- Meet 2x per month with each PMHNP or as required by state regulation
- Conduct reviews of PMHNP charts as required by state regulation
- Work collaboratively with members of Telemynd’s clinical support teams
- Remain in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain good standing with all licensing boards
- Maintain active license(s) and ensure compliance with continuing education requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven clinical and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication skills with providers and ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Confidentiality and Privacy Policies
- Ability to provide capable clinical guidance, feedback, and support to assigned nurse practitioners
Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a Doctor of Medicine with a specialization in psychiatry and possess required state license(s)
- One year of Collaboration or supervision experience preferred
- Working knowledge of your state Collaboration requirements
Reporting Accountability: Collaborator position reports to the Medical Director
Job Type: 1099 contractor position
Pay: Typical collaborators in our network earn $250 per hour
