Junior Technical Support Consultant / Neuroscientist / Biomedical Engineer (m/w/d)

Your mission:
- Customer-oriented handling of support requests on a daily basis. Our customers are mostly researchers, neuroscientists, psychologists, sport-scientists, medical researchers. Support requests are generally of technical matter (issues with acquisition hardware or software) or scientific inquiries (assistance on the use of fNIRS technology for research purposes).
- Consulting on data analysis strategies best suited based on the customer’s experimental setup and paradigm design.
- Handling of support requests via email, phone, conference calls / online sessions.
- Management of support cases through a dedicated ticketing platform.
- Solving support cases may require input from different departments (sales and marketing, engineering, management, procurement and assembly, logistics).
- Reporting on active support cases in a structured form. Proactively suggesting how improvements are possible.
- Training our new users on fNIRS technology.
- Content creation (for example creation of user documentation and documentation that will help support in the future).
- Feedback on solutions and alpha testing of new solutions.
Your Qualification
Applicants must be based in Brazil and selected candidates need to provide a local Brazilian Tax ID!
Requirements education + experience:
- Background in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, or related field.
- Knowledge of the acquisition and analysis of physiological signals. Ideally, experience with fNIRS, EEG, or fMRI.
- Good command of Matlab and basic signal processing packages.
- Excellent English skills, oral and written. Excellent written communication skills are essentials.
- Organized team player, with a love for science, and a focus on our customer’s success.
- Highly motivated, willing, and able to learn quickly.
Considered a plus
- Previous experience in the neuroscience field (either within a company or university lab)
- Knowledge in fMRI data analysis or successful publication of fNIRS data.
- Practical experience with setup and preparation of subjects/patients for measurement of physiological signals.
- Basic Python skills
