General Information

CYENS Center of Excellence is pleased to announce its Year-round Internship Program for undergraduate- and graduate-level students and early career individuals. Designed to act as an integrator of academic research and industrial innovation, CYENS will use its Internship Program to inspire talented young researchers by exposing them to cutting-edge methods and Research in Interactive media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies.

Interns will have the opportunity to carry out research as part of one of the Center’s Multidisciplinary Research Groups (MRGs). They will be introduced to the use of the latest methods and techniques in a chosen field or fields, in the center of Nicosia, and will become part of CYENS’ lively ecosystem of academics, researchers, creative and onward-looking people, innovators, entrepreneurs and practitioners.

Details Of The Program

A number of paid Internship slots are offered for full-time or part-time engagement. Applicants must be available for 2 to 6 months. Interns will be expected to give an open presentation of their work and findings before the end of their time with CYENS.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be able to work in CYENS’ premises* in Nicosia and must be either:

• Undergraduate students (BA, BSc);
• Post-Graduate students (MA, MSc and PhD);
• Early career individuals (who have graduated from university within the two years)
• For non-EU applicants an entry visa and/or work permit may be required

Important Note: Due to the corona virus pandemic remote internship arrangements will be considered and assessed on a case-by-case basis.
