As the PR, Communications & Partnership Manager at Interaxon you’ll be responsible for positioning and communicating the Muse brand globally through a unified language by developing and implementing our PR, communications, and partnership strategy. You stay current on the wellness space and are a proactive contributor who enjoys working with emerging technologies. You’ll work with a skilled and kind multidisciplinary team to bring meaningful design solutions into the lives of our customers.
This is a remote-eligible role, with a preference for Canada based candidates.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement global PR programs, working with stakeholders, managing PR agency relationships, developing compelling stories, and ensuring results through active media pitching and press release support.
- Supplement social media strategy and implementation, ensuring contribution to brand awareness and lead generation goals, as well as the integration into broader communication and marketing strategies.
- Primary partner management, including brand partnerships, to maximize partner success, engagement, and retention and to develop new strategic partnership opportunities . Support VP of Marketing in strategic planning, budgeting, controlling, and reporting activities
- Manage brand partnership and market research projects, coordinating internal resources and managing partner expectations. Foster a deep understanding of partner needs and coordinate internal efforts to support them.
- Effectively manage and engage agency partners from briefing to execution to ongoing management and reporting, managing multiple international agencies.
- Create media opportunities content by writing pitches and copy for publication, responding to all editorial and PR inquiries, working with PR agencies to collect pitches and editorial placements.
- Monitor and report on media coverage and performance and sales impact of your initiatives.
- Develop and implement communications plans including appropriate measurement and metrics to monitor and analyze the performance of all PR and event efforts
- Manage marketing events, including logistics and communications plans, ensuring smooth delivery of impactful events.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience or a personal interest in health technology, meditation and wellness and ideally a personal practice.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in PR, communications, partnerships management, with a focus on managing PR agencies and writing press release copy.
- A great communicator, both verbal and written. You can write compelling copy, generate successful pitches, manage relationships and clearly report on key results.
- Effective project management and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders
- Post-secondary education equivalent to a university degree in public relations, communication, marketing, marketing or equivalent
