Job Description

Paradromics is looking for a Senior Technician to support the hardware product development team. The primary responsibilities will include building, testing, and characterizing key components of our neural implant system. Paradromics is a growing company so there will be opportunities for growth and process ownership with demonstrated skills in organization, communications, test automation, facilities management, etc. The ideal candidate is an experienced lab technician looking to work on an exciting project and leverage multidisciplinary tools and techniques. Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years’ experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, chemistry/biology/pharma labs, CNC manufacturing or equivalent experience with a wide variety of manufacturing and test /characterization equipment.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (i.e.. medical, aero, semiconductor)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• BS in Science or Engineering
• Experience with high vacuum systems (i.e.. KF flange and vacuum pumps)
• Experience with safe chemical handling and disposal (i.e.. Organic solvents, acids, bases)
• Experience with high temperature equipment (i.e.. Ovens and furnaces)
• Experience with basic machine shop tools and equipment (Lathe, mill drill press, etc.)
• Scripting experience for test automation (i.e.. MATLAB, python, LabVIEW, Arduino)
• Experience with failure analysis (i.e.. Mechanical testing, cross-sectioning, accelerated aging)
• Experience in cleanroom environments (Class 10,000 or better)
• Experience with metrology (calipers, micrometers, drop gauges, optical inspection systems, microscopes, profilometers, etc.)
