We are looking for a talented PHP & JavaScript Developer (m/f/d) to work in a team to manage both our backend and frontend applications.

For this position, we are looking for someone who has in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, an understanding of MVC designs, S.O.L.I.D principles, design patterns and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, Typescript, and CSS3. In addition to that, some level of experience in frontend frameworks is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Write “clean” and well-designed code
• Produce detailed specifications
• Write functional requirement documents and guides
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Updating and altering application features to enhance performance
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Requirements

• Fluent English language skills
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX etc
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Ideally software development experience in PHP and JavaScript 
• Desirable experience with JavaScript frontend frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS and/or VueJS.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject is advantageous
