As an experienced DCT Business Development Director at Huma, you will partner with new Sponsors and CROs. We are looking for candidates who exhibit the skills to not only break in, but to also land and expand these accounts.
By joining the commercial team, you will contribute to solving their key objectives of expanding Huma’s footprint in the market and building strategic relationships with customers
Your Mission
- Drive acquisition of new business through new accounts (Sponsors and CRO)
- Show a deep understanding of the sales process and sales model
- Identify and develop strategies for new prospect acquisition
- Support the delivery teams by handing over the projects so that they can be delivered
- Build and maintain customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization
- Manage geographic territory and/or named accounts to achieve clearly defined sales and revenue goals
- Conduct prospecting activity to identify potential new clients and source new business opportunities
- Develop collaborative client relationships in order to expand business with existing accounts
- Work closely with the executive management to establish successful channel and partner programs
- Document client interactions in CRM system and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
- Collaborate with business development team to continuously improve sales process and materials
- Work with Marketing team on client facing materials including proposals and presentations
- Participate in industry conferences and events
- Provide client feedback to product development team
From day one in this role we’ll expect you to have
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- A deep understanding of the Clinical trial process
- Excellent business development and account management skills
- Previous technical sales experience in the clinical trials space
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm and high energy level
- Interpersonal skills proven to establish effective relationships
- Good judgment and high integrity
- The ability to travel up to 50%
