This is a remote role based in San Francisco.
As we are scaling and growing, we are in search of a Logistics Specialist, to strengthen the Oura Operations team. This is an essential role in ensuring Oura’s excellence in growing in B2B and retail sectors.
As our logistics specialist, you will be participating in launching new partnerships and later maintaining the daily communication between Oura, customer and logistics partners. You will be an active player in securing smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
What You will do:
- Work as a trusted logistics, fulfillment and retail professional throughout Oura internal teams and Oura’s logistics partners and selected customers.
- Oversee execution & continuous development of orders, deliveries, returns and forecasts.
- Own, drive & communicate partnership status – develop & improve processes and systems
- Bring in strong expertise and know-how of the requirements of the retailer companies and meeting their expectations
- Ensure order fulfillment, shipping, deliveries (end-to-end)
- Work with Oura return partners, manage returns internally and externally (retailer, return partner, finance, customer service)
- Return inventory management: disposition, refurbishment, rework
- Previous experience from 3PL operations and Retail deliveries, BestBuy and Amazon specific knowledge a plus
- Hands on experience on similar role, participating and handling day to day tasks (we are not seeking a manager or director, strong knowledge on actual logistics coordinator or specialist role)
- Team player, self driven and good communicator, our team is spread to USA, Netherlands and in Finland. It is important to be able to keep things under control without someone constantly overseeing the performance.
We would love to have you on our team if you have some of the following:
- Suitable bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience from logistics
- Knowledge of routing requirements, arranging transportation using 3rd party logistics providers or working directly with carriers to ensure timely pick-up and deliveries to retailers’ DCs or shipping directly to stores
- Previous experience from managing retailer portals, adding or exerting information from documents online, uploading sales or shipping information online, and/or via EDI and ERP including using 3rd party EDI providers or in-house EDI management
- Knowledge of EDI transactions and EDI requirements, EDI labels, ASN etc.
- ERP knowledge and project management, NetSuite experience considered a plus.
- Knowledge of import/export requirements, cross-dock, communicating with carriers and forwarders, prioritizing and negotiating costs
- Proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and perform business and cost analysis to make recommendations
- Experience in quantitative applications such as Microsoft Excel

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
- Region 1 $95,000 – $105,000
- Region 2 $90,000 – $100,000
