ANT Neuro is growing, and we have ambitious plans to expand the team in the coming years. To strengthen our team in the UK, we are looking for a highly motivated professional who will fill the role of Technical Sales Representative. The person in this role will be working remotely with the requirement to travel to attend customer sites, conferences and other necessary meetings within the UK and occasionally at company HQ in Berlin, Germany.

After training on our continuously evolving product portfolio, you will work directly under the supervision of the Director of Sales with the support of application experts to meet the ambitious sales goals of the territory. You will build and develop relationships with researchers and research labs within the UK and maintain close contact to offer the highest quality of support and maximize commercial success while representing a strong international player in the medical/research device market. This position involves travel throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

• Visit researchers within relevant neuroscientific and related fields to discuss and demonstrate ANT Neuro’s EEG and TMS navigation technology and develop solutions applying ANT’s technology.
• Generate revenue growth and meet set sales targets by establishing new customers, maximizing new customer accounts and retaining those customers
• Develop and maintain a professional presence in the communities in which you work
• Represent ANT Neuro at regional and national conferences

Key Requirements

• Education: MS or PhD in a science related subject, preferably with focus on neuroscience, BCI, experimental psychology, or developmental neuroscience.
• Good understanding of neuroscience research technology
• Background in EEG or TMS research
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills – the successful candidate should have a persuasive personality with excellent telephone and written manner and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a customer facing role. e.g. sales, customer service or other roles involving customer interaction preferred
• Results-Oriented, self-driven and enthusiastic/energetic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Positive work attitude and service-oriented mentality
• Strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
• High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Windows and Office Suite) and ability to operate complex equipment
• In possession of a valid Passport and Driver’s License
• Willingness to travel flexibly and on a regular basis, up to 60% of working time in peak season

The Technical Sales Representative is expected to:

• Learn the ANT Neuro technology portfolio and effectively communicate our value proposition to both a research and technical audience
• Work to understand customer needs, goals, and challenges to better understand how we can best help and support
• Collaborate with the marketing and engineering team to provide input that feeds into new strategies to build our sales pipeline and grow our business
• Create strong relationships with our customers and build on these relationships to close deals
• Present, promote, and sell the portfolio of products and services to new and existing customers and meet set sales targets
• Find and contact potential customers in creative ways
• Attend forums, conferences, and other scientific events
• Look for potential partnerships and collaborations
• Occasionally organize and participate in promotional and educational events
