About the role

We are currently looking for an Account Executive who will be a foundational team member of our fast-growing sales team. This individual will be dedicated to building amazing relationships with prospects, acquiring new customers and creating raving fans.

In order to succeed in this role, you must be curious, thoughtful and solution-oriented; you are driven to understand what is important to your prospect and provide them with the best solutions. You have a high level of emotional intelligence and exceptional communications skills that make you a great listener. You know when and how to ask the right questions to truly understand someone and their pain points. Lastly, you are driven by growth and are always looking to exceed your goals.

What you will be working on

Driving results
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales quotas assigned by your manager
  • Generating new business by prospecting, cold calling, leveraging networks, etc. to hit monthly and annual sales quotas. 
  • Building and executing deal plans for assigned target accounts and new prospects
  • Identifying, engaging and qualifying new opportunities from a list you will develop and closing new business opportunities.
  • Facilitating discovery calls with decision-makers and decision influencers to qualify leads and book demos
  • Leading demos for sales-qualified leads to show them solutions to their primary pain points
  • Facilitating post-demo follow-up meetings to handle objections, hesitations, and negotiations to close a deal
  • Driving successful negotiations with prospects and effectively managing customer consensus
  • Acting as a “solutions expert” consultant by helping prospects with their unique critical business issues and strategic initiatives to bring them the most value
  • Continuously communicating with prospects throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met, sales momentum is not lost, and the sales lifecycle timeline is reduced
  • Working closely with our customer experience team to assure there is a smooth and exceptional transition for our clients
  • Following a standard sales process method designed by Welbi
  • Working alongside the sales team to share best practices and lessons learned
Building relationships
  • Being an outstanding listener to truly understand potential clients’ pain points, workflows, and company needs
  • Being the users’ trusted advisor and partner throughout their entire sales journey to ultimately help them with their biggest pain points
  • Establishing phenomenal long-term relationships with potential customers to secure new deals, renewals, and expansions
  • Providing Welbi’s users with the best customer experience in the industry
Solving primary pain points
  • Becoming an industry expert and staying current with industry trends to best support and understand potential clients’ pain points
  • Becoming an expert in Welbi’s products to offer potential clients the best solutions to their pain points
  • Asking potential clients tough questions to truly understand their primary pain points and problems with their workflows, and identifying the best solutions for them
  • Collaborating with the product team to develop new solutions to solve our users’ primary pain points
Leveraging data
  • Entering and maintaining contact and company data and updating pipeline activity into Welbi’s CRM system to support all data-driven decisions – you will also be accountable for accurate forecasting 
  • Performing ongoing tracking and reporting on sales initiatives to analyze performance and areas for growth
  • Leveraging sales results, ideas, and experiences to help enhance our sales playbook

Experience
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas in a B2B SaaS market
  • Proven work experience as an Account Executive in relationship-based sales
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and how to achieve them
  • Ability to deliver engaging demonstrations/presentations
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
  • Communicating and convincing decision-makers (upper management) and decision influencers (middle management)
  • Prior experience in a full-cycle sales process
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and initiates
  • Ability to drive consensus internally and work well in a team.
  • Ability to independently develop and create a pipeline.
  • Experienced in selling enterprise software to operations executives
  • Experience and comfort using CRM systems. Preferably Hubspot, but not a must
  • A proven sales track record in the healthcare tech space is a plus, but not a must
  • Knowledge & understanding of the senior living industry is a plus, but not a must
