We are looking for a highly experienced senior UI/ UX product designer that is familiar with design systems management to maintain and procure our Huma core design system.
N.B. We are unfortunately unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Your mission
- Develop, maintain and evolve the design system to help other designers do their best work
- Establish procedures to effectively maintain the design system and ensure alignment with the live products and the engineering documentations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical teams, ensuring that all the right stakeholders contribute to the design delivery
- Work closely with software engineers to develop and ship the design system and UI libraries
- Write documentation and provide guidance to other product designers on how and why components, styles and patterns are applied in code and design
- Help with the embedding of event management / analytics within the design system
From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have
- BA/BSc Degree in systems engineering, computer science, product design, or graphic design
- Relevant working experience in product design, graphic design and/or engineering
- At least 5+ years of experience as product designer, on a scaling product
- Strong experience with design tools and UI libraries – Such as Figma, Adobe, amcharts, SB, Material UI etc
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of the design industry and the latest software tools that improve effectiveness of design systems and collaboration tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- A passion for healthcare – keen to get stuck in, and make a difference to the health technology / clinical trial space.
