Job Description:
Paradromics is looking for an Manufacturing Engineer to design, improve and sustain numerous manufacturing processes related to our neural implant system. This includes a variety of unit operations (Machining, Cleaning, PVD, CVD, Sputtering, etc.) and assembly processes (flipchip bonding, wire bonding, soldering, etc.). They will also be involved in verification and validation of our manufacturing process with the opportunity to also work on projects in a variety of other areas of the business. A successful candidate will be an experienced engineer looking to work on a variety of challenging problems ranging from developing reporting systems for manufacturing data to training operators on various processes. Required Skills & Experience
- B.S. Degree in an Engineering or manufacturing related field, minimum 2 years industry experience
- Experience with developing, implementing, and improving data collection, reporting systems, and analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Experience training manufacturing personnel to SOP & OCAPs for the manufacturing processes
- Experience troubleshoot and debug new process or product failure modes; Participate in and/or lead CAPA investigations
- Experience developing and improving process documentation, such as the PFMEA, SOP/WI, OCAP, DHR/DMR
- Experience designing and machining Fixtures/Jigs to aid in manufacturing
- Document and execute process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Preferred Skills & Experience
- BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience working statistical analysis and/or dashboarding software (MiniTab, JMP, Spotfire, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience writing scripts for report generation, data collection, and equipment control (Python, R, G code, C++/C#, etc)
- Experience with GD&T, Interpreting Engineering Drawings, and/or working with CAD software
- Experience with the Quality and Statistics tools for designing and analyzing experiments
- Prior exposure to the above listed unit operations and assembly processes
- Prior experience working in a similarly regulated industry (FDA, ISO, IATF, AS9100, etc.)
