Job Responsibilities:

Axonics is looking for an experienced Medical Education Specialist that will develop and promote health programs. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and educational support for training, ongoing education, provide quality assessments and analysis of the training team. This employee will be responsible to assist with ongoing training and supporting physicians and field personnel.

 

General Description and Duties:

  • Sets up and assists with facilitating in-person and group education training
  • Works closely with the team to assess the learning environment and determine relevant resources for training and ongoing education
  • Facilitates webinars, conference calls, or other computer-based training
  • Handles educational and training questions from clinicians and sales representatives
  • Plans group trainings in alignment with territory teams and district quarterly training goals
  • Assists with creating continuing education material for the sales team
  • Collects and consolidates data to show ROI on training through metrics and visual representation
  • Shares training information with operations and management to identify gaps in training program, process improvements, and opportunities to add program resources
  • Coordinates admin activities with team including class evaluations, updating files, class registration, scheduling classes and new hires
  • Provides ongoing educational support for clinicians and sales representatives

 

Projects and Other Duties:

  • Other projects as requested by the manager

 

Position Qualifications

  • Experience working on cross functional teams
  • Good analytical skills
  • Has excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • 10% travel required

 

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Health Education, Health and Human Services and or related field

 

Minimum Experience:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • 2+ years in neuromodulation technologies (preferred)
  • Able to leverage data to create meaningful insights

 

Salary:

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance and merit based pay, Axonics offers competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and Employer paid benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families. At Axonics, our employees come first!

For California, the base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
