Working in the IT ERP and CQR applications team, our interns will get the opportunity to work on large-scale projects where AI and machine learning can be leveraged. Interns will work alongside key stakeholders from the commercial operations and quality, clinical and regulatory functions to leverage AI and machine learning to support the business.  This is an opportunity for you to demonstrate analytical and technical skills to meaningfully impact our business by adding value. You will work with driven individuals who are skilled in business analysis, system configuration, programming, data management and system development skills across various functions (Clinical data management, Quality Management Systems, Warehouse, Order to Cash, Quality, Master Data Management, Risk Assessment etc.).        

Our Interns will be exposed to:

• Conversational AI supporting the Order to Cash and Master Data processes
• Querying unstructured clinical, quality and regulatory data
• Developing enhanced search capabilities using GPT-3 and ChatGPT
• Use of AI to create and query documentation of business processes
• Integration of AI/ML tools with existing software (SAP, Quickbase, FreshWorks, etc.)
• Designing UI and UX elements to help employees leverage the power of AI/ML
• Internal and external audit processes and associated documentation, reporting and controls

Qualifications:

• Working towards Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Master’s students preferred
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, C++, C#, Java, or other commonly used languages preferred
• Experience with NLP (natural language processing), linear search algorithm, AI and machine learning tools (Jasper, Bloom, Replika etc.) preferred
• Experience using APIs for software integration preferred
• Previous project experience (industry experience, past internships, research, project teams, etc.) preferred although not necessary
• Some experience in software/life science industry is a plus
• Currently living in Pittsburgh, PA or Houston, TX area is preferred, but not required
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
