Who we need
Purple Gaze is advancing neuroscience research by providing high-performance Eye Tracking software & hardware. We are looking for a motivated researcher to solve new and interesting algorithmic challenges. The ideal candidate should be creative and capable of developing object tracking algorithms that meet limited compute resource requirements. They should have a good understanding of the high-performance aspects of computer architectures.
Duties:
- Develop object tracking algorithms;
- Prototype in OpenCV and further tune algorithms for specific problem constraints;
- Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary researchers and engineers;
- Publish research findings in relevant venues.
Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field;
- Strong background in Computer Vision and Machine Learning;
- Knowledge of high-performance aspects of computer architectures such as caching, threads and vectorization;
- Fluency in prototyping in OpenCV;
- Proficiency in Python programming;
- Proficiency in C++ is a huge plus.
