Summary

This material team member is responsible for end-to-end material flow activities while providing exemplary customer service and delivering high quality services. The material team member will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, work order transactions, outbound shipments, and other responsibilities as outline below while ensuring compliance with procedures and processes in place.   

Responsibility

• Maintain accurate inventory levels within each location/bin
• Utilize ERP/MRP to complete inventory transaction activities
• Support all cycle counting activities
• Participate in company lean initiatives
• Ensure consistent outbound shipment accuracy including labeling, documentation, etc.
• Utilize pallet jack or other tools to unload, move and store material
• Support audit activities as necessary
• Verify Goods received against BOLs, documents received and specifications as necessary
• Coordinate receiving activities as required per procedures
• Maintain on time delivery of all material activities
• Work as a team to successfully meet daily performance goals
• Perform other duties as may be required by management.

Basic Qualifications

• High School graduate
• Ability to be on your feet for an extended period.
• Ability to work overtime and weekend if required.
• Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Self-Starter with the ability to initiate process improvement
• 3+ years’ experience in an inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing and/or a shipping distribution environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher Education completed or in progress
• Experience in a medical manufacturing environment
• SAP/QAD experience
