The Opportunity

We are looking for a mid-level Quality Specialist with a solution-oriented mindset and a love for organization to join our growing team in developing life-changing medical devices.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has worked for small medical device companies and is familiar with wearing several hats in the quality space. In this role, you will perform all work in compliance with Ripple’s Quality Management System. You will implement and maintain standards, complete investigations, and track and trend NCMRs, CAPAs, and customer complaints. You will be the champion of change orders and Document Control processes, as well as incoming inspection and final device review and release. You will work with other members of our badass quality team to perform internal audits, ensure compliance, review Device History Records, and provide support to all engineering teams.

This is a full-time, salaried position starting immediately in our Salt Lake City office.

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience working in a quality department at a medical device manufacturing company
  • 2+ years’ experience using Production Management software for inventory control, vendor qualification, and document control within a Quality Management System (Fishbowl and/or MasterControl experience preferred)
  • Working knowledge of 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other medical device-related standards
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Written and verbal interpersonal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Experience working with supply chain management, inventory control, and manufacturing and production
  • Experience performing inspection and device qualification, and creation of work instructions driving transparent systems around delivery

About You

  • You do not have a quality police mindset. You inspire a positive culture and instill virtue around quality.
  • You have a deep appreciation for organization and correctness. You like to cross every “t” and dot every “i”.
  • You are not above certain tasks. You understand the need to wear several hats in a small business and you are willing to do it.
  • You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams and balancing competing priorities.
  • You exhibit humility (even when you know you’re a badass in your domain).
  • You identify problems and drive to solutions to get things done (…as in all the way done).
