Position Overview:

Build and assemble products for electronics manufacturing.

Qualification Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma, Associates degree preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in electronics and/or medical device manufacturing or product development
• Medical device or electronic assembly experience
• Mechanical assembly experience
• Must have surface mount and through-hole soldering experience
• Must have experience working under a microscope
• Must be comfortable working with electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, function generator, digital multimeter)
• Must have good organizational skills
• Must be thorough and detail oriented
• Must have excellent reading, writing and communication skills in the English language
• Must have excellent editing skills
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills
• Must be able to handle stressful situations
• Must be proficient in computer skills with 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office
• Must have excellent reading comprehension

Ideal Competencies

• Knowledge of FDA/ISO for medical devices
• IPC 610 Preferred
• Solder certification preferred
• GMP training preferred

Essential Job Duties

Job Output:

• Produce high quality product
• Work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations
• Cross-training manufacturing technicians
• Performs other assignments as required by the supervisor

Physical and other requirements

• Ability to work in an office setting.
• Sitting and standing while typing.
• Ability to lift-up to fifty pounds.
