Position Overview:
Build and assemble products for electronics manufacturing.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma, Associates degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in electronics and/or medical device manufacturing or product development
- Medical device or electronic assembly experience
- Mechanical assembly experience
- Must have surface mount and through-hole soldering experience
- Must have experience working under a microscope
- Must be comfortable working with electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, function generator, digital multimeter)
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must be thorough and detail oriented
- Must have excellent reading, writing and communication skills in the English language
- Must have excellent editing skills
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be able to handle stressful situations
- Must be proficient in computer skills with 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office
- Must have excellent reading comprehension
Ideal Competencies
- Knowledge of FDA/ISO for medical devices
- IPC 610 Preferred
- Solder certification preferred
- GMP training preferred

Job Output:
- Produce high quality product
- Work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations
- Cross-training manufacturing technicians
- Performs other assignments as required by the supervisor
Physical and other requirements
- Ability to work in an office setting.
- Sitting and standing while typing.
- Ability to lift-up to fifty pounds.
