Are you interested in exploring data that no-one has ever seen? We are seeking a talented self-starter to join our team as a neural data scientist. This person will work closely with our research and development team to analyse and interpret large datasets, using various statistical and computational tools. You will also contribute to the development of algorithms for signal processing, data analysis, and machine learning.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the research team to analyse and interpret large datasets.
- Process, analyse, and interpret large scale time series data
- Work collaboratively with the research and development team to improve the understanding of disease state and modelling.
- Participate in regular meetings and discussions with the team to share progress and insights.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Data Science, Computational Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python or MATLAB
- Familiarity with data analysis and machine learning techniques including clustering and classification.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- A visceral need to be working on the toughest problems.
Bonus:
- Experience working with raw electrophysiology signals.
- Experience working with electrophysiology systems/electronics.
