Wave is a company bringing next-level science to mainstream mental health & fitness. This is a trailblazing leadership role; you’ll be taking our scientifically proven 60+ patented platform, already used in a number of clinics around the nation, and aiming to triple our footprint. You’ll also be breaking into the midmarket and enterprise space, following on two marquee deals in 2022.

Wave offers a platform for medical-grade outpatient treatment through clinics, and has a new take-home consumer-grade wearable product. Our growth up to this point has been inbound leads through research and referrals; we are now launching an inside sales program to expand this effective brain healing methodology to swaths of new customers.

As our Newport Beach, CA headquarters-based VP of Sales, with the support of the Chief Science and Medical Officers, and the CEO, you’ll be growing this revenue with a new team – new compensation plan – new assets – and new funding. We’ll give you knowledge training, but you have to bring A+ skills.

What does success in the role look like? You’ll:

  • Own accountability for the team’s KPIs daily, weekly, monthly
  • Motivate and coach representatives
  • With our support, grow the team with several new reps
  • Be credited by senior leadership with both team victories and misses
  • Lead by example with a nominal amount of personal sales interaction
  • Manage the onboarding of new reps
  • Manage advanced training for existing reps
  • Tweak existing scripts based on customer response, changing market conditions, and representative results
  • Be accountable for all sales data entry into Salesforce
  • Track and give feedback on outgoing proposals
  • Interact directly with the science team for nuance in deployment
  • Understand the needs for our 2 offerings across several markets
