A Day in the Life
As a Territory Manager within our Neurovascular Division, you will be primarily responsible for promoting our highly successful interventional neurovascular products to interventional neuro-radiologists and driving the evolution of Acute Ischaemic Stroke (AIS) care across your territory. Your key Interventional accounts will be located in Bristol, Oxford, Cardiff, Southampton and Plymouth. The development of the AIS treatment pathway will require a further strategic approach across the region. You will build and maintain strong and ethical business relationships with customers to encourage usage of our neurovascular products and gain a greater market share.

As a Neurovascular Territory Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
- Develop and implement sales and call plans for hospitals across your territory
- Apply Strategic Selling methodologies to convert opportunities into purchase orders
- Drive pre-sale product evaluations of products in the territory
- Provide coverage, follow-up support and troubleshooting of your key accounts
- Support and advise the physician on correct use of Medtronic’s neurovascular devices
- Actively utilize sales force processes for planning, delivering and analysing sales calls
- Expand the customer base and sales by establishing regular contact with key physicians, technical and administration personnel in Comprehensive Stroke Centres as well as referring hospitals
- Ensure the highest level of expertise is attained and maintained by developing and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge. Understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products.
- Ensure customers and prospective customers are technically competent through on-site and other education events.
- Deliver meaningful reports, sales forecasts, and funnel updates to Country Manager NV.
- Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand and complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock
- Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry
Must Haves
- Extensive experience in sales of medical devices
- Education minimum to a bachelor’s degree (required), paramedical profile (preferably)
- Familiarity with the Operating Room or Cath lab environment and knowledge of its specific requirements
- Advanced presentation and negotiation skills
- A high degree of emotional intelligence
- A full understanding of customer needs and solution selling
- A customer focused approach, understands and delivers exemplary customer service
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of neuro anatomy would be an advantage
- Experience in Interventional (Neuro)radiology or with endovascular procedures is welcome
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Passion for new technologies and revolutionary products
