Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist – Temp

General Administration – Finance & Accounting           ·           Alameda, CA (On-Site)        ·           Full time / Temporary

 

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in the company’s revenue cycle and process efficiency. You will maintain the ledgers for all entries through collections, working cross-functionally with multiple departments.

 

What You’ll Work On

  • Prepare monthly AR reconciliations for U.S. and International entities.
  • Review and verify posting details of customer payments for all entities.
  • Perform customer collection procedures on delinquent accounts.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies, including the preparation and review of credit memorandums.
  • Perform customer account monitoring and analysis for all entities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred and 5+ years of AR & Collections experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and look-ups.

 

Working Conditions

General office environment. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

 

Base Pay Range Per Hour:  $35.00 – 50.00 / hour

Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, work location and shift, and will increase over time based on meeting performance and business needs.
