Field Technician II
About the Role:
Build products and provide training to Product Builders providing flexibility to effectively run the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Actively ensure training records are accurate.
- Adapt training techniques to the learning style of the product builder.
- Build products and assist in attaining department metrics.
- Provide input on cross-training strategies.
- Demonstrate in-depth process and system knowledge.
- Develop and assist in the implementation of Continuous and Process Improvement ideas.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and skills in training policies/SOPs.
- Transfer knowledge of lean manufacturing and application of tools.
- Update the training matrix as necessary.
- Partner with Operations Training Department to achieve training objectives.
- Perform Shared Leadership responsibilities when appropriate.
- Accountable for trainee’s quality until the trainee is signed-off.
- Influence direction, make recommendations, and offer solutions in working with both the product builders and supervisors in all aspects of training.
- Adherence to manufacturing process requirements, to the principles of all quality policies, and to the foundations of the Strategic Quality Process.
Required qualifications: 2 years with high school diploma/degree/equivalent
Preferred qualifications: 3-4 years experience in a Material Control role

This role is deemed safety-sensitive and, as such, candidates will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement. The goal of the drug testing requirement is to increase workplace safety in compliance with applicable law.
