Maaind’s Neuroadaptive AI Platform

Maaind has built and continues to develop the first neuroadaptive AI platform that measures the psychophysiological state of users in real-time and provides real-time scientifically validated neuroadaptive-targeted recommendations and feedback. This leads to the most effective wellbeing and performance-boosting interventions and recommendations, which are tailored to the user’s actual measured state. By measuring the user’s state before, during and after interventions and recommendations, our Platform can best adjust these continuously.

 

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Lead to drive the growth and commercialization of Maaind’s innovative technology solutions. In this key role, you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue and profitability, while positioning Maaind as a leader in its industry. Maaind has a bold ambition to impact the lives of 1 billion people by embedding Neuroadaptive AI technology for optimizing wellbeing in areas where people spend the most time: at home, at work, and on the go. With strong traction in automotive, insurance and lifestyle sectors already, we are now focusing on scaling and commercializing our technology within these existing markets as well as exploringing more use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market positioning, pricing, and commercialization strategies for Maaind’s core product, neuroadaptive AI platform and supporting services, utilizing direct sales, partnerships, joint ventures, licensing, as appropriate.
  • Meet ambitious revenue and profitability targets through autonomously creating and driving a continuous pipeline of direct sales.
  • Engage in market research and exploration to further validate value propositions and secure long-term licensing contracts with potential partners.
  • Actively make recommendations to the founding team on the best strategic fit with use cases and industries to focus on.
  • Work with clients on value creation to support them in understanding the value proposition, and support alignment with their business KPIs.
  • Work closely with our product and technology teams to inform continuous refinement and development of product features to meet customers needs and market demands.
  • Negotiate and close sales, licensing, and partnership deals with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the founding team to define and execute the long-term commercial strategy.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in revenue generation through a variety of channels, including partnerships and direct sales.
  • Worked in environments where new products / technology had to be brought to market. Hence analytically and communicatively strong; and persuasive and persistent in a professional and pleasant way.
  • Ability to work in a changing, agile start-up environment, while implementing necessary processes for growth and scalability.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing commercialization and scaling strategies from start-up to growth company.
  • Ideally experience with sales in SaaS and/or API-based software products.
  • Experience building sales and marketing functions to achieve financial targets.
  • Education background in a relevant field with high preference for technical competence and technical/engineering background.
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior B2B commercial roles, with a proven track record with large enterprise clients.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close high-value, complex deals fast.
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred, but not required.
  • A strong ethical stance and alignment with Maaind’s mission & values.
  • Outstanding team-working and communication skills.
