Neurons brings neuroscience into marketing to offer innovative solutions to our customers, and as the company is on its new stage of exponential growth we are looking for an Intern Analyst to join our fantastic team. This is a newly created role at Neurons. 

 

Your key responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Conduct statistical analysis: Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of data using statistical software such as JMP, R, or Python. Apply appropriate statistical techniques to evaluate hypotheses and draw conclusions based on the findings.
  • Data management: Support the team in data cleaning, transformation, and coding to ensure accurate and reliable data for analysis. Collaborate with the research team to identify and resolve data-related issues.
  • Research support: Contribute to the design and implementation of experiments or surveys. Assist in data collection and participant recruitment. Follow established protocols and ensure ethical guidelines are followed throughout the research process.
  • Results interpretation and reporting: Summarize and present analysis results in a clear and concise manner. Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Literature review: Stay up-to-date with current research in cognitive and experimental psychology. Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing projects and propose innovative approaches based on the latest findings.
  • Collaborative teamwork: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including researchers, data analysts, and project managers, to contribute to the overall success of the projects.

 

What you will need:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a growth mindset, a strong sense of responsibility, and unwavering integrity. Moreover, we are looking for someone who is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in cognitive or experimental psychology, statistics, or a related field. Candidates with a strong background and prior experience with study design, data collection, and in statistical analysis and reporting are preferred.

 

Additionally, you’ll have: 

  • Statistical knowledge: Proficient in statistical analysis techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, and experimental design. Familiarity with statistical software such as JMP, R, or Python is highly desirable.
  • Research skills: Understanding of research methodologies, data collection techniques, and data management practices. Experience with experimental design, data collection, and familiarity with ethical considerations in research is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and interpret complex data. Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis are essential.
  • Communication skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex statistical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Proficiency in creating reports, presentations, and visualizations is desirable
  • Initiative and adaptability: Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines.
