Neurons brings neuroscience into marketing to offer innovative solutions to our customers, and as the company is on its new stage of exponential growth we are looking for an Intern Analyst to join our fantastic team. This is a newly created role at Neurons.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Study Design and Experimentation: Collaborate with our research team to develop and implement experiments or surveys. Assist in defining research questions and hypotheses, as well as selecting appropriate methodologies to address them.
- Data Collection and Management: Support the team in data collection, ensuring its accuracy and reliability. Assist in data cleaning, transformation, and coding to prepare it for statistical analysis.
- Statistical Analyses: Utilize statistical software, such as JMP, R, or Python, to conduct data analyses. Apply various statistical techniques to evaluate hypotheses and draw meaningful conclusions from the findings.
- Interpretation and Reporting: Summarize and present analysis results in a clear and concise manner. Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Literature Review: Stay up-to-date with the latest research in cognitive and experimental psychology. Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing projects and propose innovative approaches based on recent discoveries.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including researchers, data analysts, and project managers, to contribute to the overall success of the projects.
What you’ll need:
To excel in this role, you should demonstrate a growth mindset, a strong sense of responsibility, and unwavering integrity. We are looking for candidates who are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, or a related field. Individuals with a solid background and prior experience in study design, data collection, and statistical analysis are preferred.
Additionally, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Research Skills: Familiarity with research methodologies, data collection techniques, and ethical considerations in research. Previous experience with experimental design and data collection is advantageous.
- Statistical Knowledge: Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, and experimental design. Experience with statistical software, such as JMP, R, or Python, is highly desirable.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data. Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis are essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The ability to convey complex statistical concepts in a clear and accessible manner is important. Proficiency in creating reports, presentations, and visualizations is a plus.
- Initiative and Adaptability: Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing project priorities and deadlines is crucial in our fast-paced and dynamic work environment
