We are looking for a high-energy employee who is excited to be at the forefront medical device software development. A successful candidate will meet the criteria defined below, and in doing so, will help deliver the best patient care to patients all around the world.

 

What you will do:

  • Information Security Threat/Trend Monitoring and Malware Evaluation, including review of emerging threat/subscription service notifications
  • Information Security Incident/Breach investigation and processing
  • Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Planning and periodic testing
  • Secure Engineering Principles Upkeep/Guidance for development
  • Product/Tool Security Input/Reviews
  • Third-party Penetration and Vulnerability Testing coordination and vulnerability assessment
  • Vulnerability Scanning (Qualys) Management
  • SIEM Monitoring, including alert configuration
  • Data Leakage Protection strategy, implementation, and monitoring
  • AWS Infrastructure Configuration Security/Privacy/Business Continuity Assessments
  • SaaS System Security configuration and auditing
  • Dark Web Monitoring scan results evaluation
  • Endpoint Security Monitoring

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise
  • An understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a business-wide level
  • Process and system development and optimization:  Ability to implement efficient processes and incorporate software systems, as appropriate, in support of processes.  Identify opportunities and execute to optimize existing processes over time.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:  Ability to lead and work with IT, software development, development operations, technical support, and business operations to develop and execute processes.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment: Ability to prioritize ongoing strategic and tactical work requests and responsibilities to ensure end goals are met
  • Ability to prioritize projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Mathematics
  • Certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, CEH or CISM desired
  • Familiarity ISO27001/27701 and SOC2
  • At least two years of experience in the cybersecurity industry
  • Basic coding skills, such as HTML, CSS and other languages
  • Public Trust security or security-related clearance a plus

 

This position will work with the IT Administrator, Information Security Director, Engineering, DevOps, and other departments to ensure objectives are met. 

 

Compensation – The hourly rate target for the role described in this job description is $60.00 – $67.00 per hour. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including but not limited to candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, compensation/equity mix, and market data. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
