Description

SetPoint Medical is seeking an experienced and self-motivated level 2 IT Specialist to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will operate cross-functionally working with Operations, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Inventory departments to ensure an operational state of readiness. In addition to providing IT support throughout the company, the IT Specialist will perform all duties in a manner that promotes team success by assisting other team members with various duties. The selected candidate will work under the guidance of the Vice President, Operations.

This position is in office, Monday – Friday, reporting to company headquarters in Valencia, CA.

 

Requirements

Position Responsibilities 
  • Provide second-level technical support to end-users via various channels (phone, email, chat, etc.) in a timely and professional manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues escalated from Level 1 Support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT peripherals.
  • Perform software installations, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of the IT infrastructure, including desktops, servers, networks, and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Document all support activities, including incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions, in the ticketing system.
  • Provide technical training and assistance to end-users on various software applications and systems.
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of Active Directory, user accounts, and security permissions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure effective technical support delivery.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in providing Level 2 technical support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of iOS, OS, Microsoft Windows, Azure, and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience with Active Directory administration and user account management.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent, are a plus. 
  • Medical device industry experience a plus, particularly with a HITRUST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) certified company.

Location 

  • Company headquarters in Valencia, CA.

Salary Description

$80,000 – $100,000, depending on experience
