Technical R&D Laboratories Manager

What you will be doing:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the research and development laboratories, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
• The laboratories include, but are not limited to, MRI test facilities & System Integration laboratories
• Manage laboratory resources, including supporting equipment (Electrical systems, A/C etc.), supplies, and budget allocation, to support ongoing development activities safely, effectively and with full transparency to the various stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities and equipment, while ensuring proper documentation and data management practices.
• Execution: Oversee the execution of all activities, ensuring adherence to regulations and established quality standards.
• Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key metrics to measure quality and provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices, and drive initiatives to enhance the overall quality and efficiency of system testing.

What you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Practical Engineer education
• “Order and cleanliness”
• Familiarity with water and air conditioning systems – major advantage
• Safety awareness/knowledge
• Driving License
• Willingness to work/on-call at unusual hours
• Physical presence at all sites
• Safety trustee certificate (נאמן בטיחות) – an advantage
• Certified electrician certificate – an advantage
• Quality Mindset: A strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and continuous improvement, with the ability to ensure high professional standards and operational excellence.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
