Overview
Position Overview:
The role is a key financial position reporting to the Director of FP&A. Initial responsibilities will include preparation of monthly key performance indicators, production and analysis of budget vs. actual information, and analysis of various reporting information, both financial and non-financial. Responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasting activities, including variance analysis, reporting of sales related data and departmental financial support. This position will work closely with the accounting team and executive leaders in cross-functional areas of the business. The FA is responsible for maintaining and updating forecasting software, as well as, proactively creating and maintaining both standardized and custom reports.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing the day- to-day financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas.
- Research and resolve business inquiries for assigned functional areas.
- Assist the Director of FP&A with the annual budgeting process
- Develop, refine and manage agile opex forecasting models.
- Develop and manage opex tracking for large projects.
- Assist with the review of monthly financial results and prepare analysis reports for management.
- Conduct periodic investigations of assigned department financial issues (e.g. account variances, cost-center variances or fluctuations).

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Analytical – Must possess a highly developed analytical skill set necessary to develop and maintain a robust reporting, analysis and forecasting system while maintaining attention to detail
- Oral/Written Communication – must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization.
- Organizational Skills – must be well organized, with demonstrated ability to manage projects of a large scale, often involving others with tight deadlines.
- Computer Skills – must be proficient across all Microsoft Office products. Experience using Excel to build and maintain complex financial models as well as perform financial and data analysis.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment.

Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree (or equivalent) in Finance/Accounting or related field.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting/ financial analysis experience, preferably in commercial decision support.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Adaptive Insights forecasting software a plus
