Role Specification:
We are expanding our clinical presence in the US, and we have an opportunity for a talented Inside Sales Specialist to join us to source patient referrals for our internal clinics. This is a crucial part of our process and we’re hoping to meet someone who loves nothing more than building relationships with customers and delivering value for them. This is a commission based role with a base salary. On target earnings are uncapped.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for sourcing new referrals and leads for our clinics and qualifying them. You’ll work closely with the marketing team and the clinical team, to determine effective lead strategies, and monitor prosthetist caseload to source further referrals.
You will be an integral part of our business development plan with reaching out to potential patients, promoting our product, and generating and converting leads. You’ll be a strong communicator, with an ability to build rapport with potential patients and clients. We’re keen to hear from strongly motivated people who thrive engaging with people over the phone, with a sales prowess.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver a high volume of phone calls/emails/texts daily to customers.
- Keep up to date with relevant organization and product updates.
- Log all activity on a daily basis in the Company’s CRM (Netsuite).
- Identify / monitor trends, patient data and sales potential. Adjust strategy accordingly if patients need different types of communication. Share learnings with key decision makers, leadership, and partners.
- Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with potential patients, their families, and internal clinics.
- Facilitate and drive the Open Bionics patient experience by delivering well qualified patients into our internal clinics.
- Deliver education on Open Bionic products to potential patients and/or their families.
- Maintain consistent and open communication with key leadership and stakeholders: patient/customer care and marketing.
- Ensure alignment and collaboration with the clinical team, customer support team and marketing team to support effective activities.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to support patients coming into our clinical locations
- Work closely with our PCC to pass potential patients into our clinics
- Create plans to support special projects in lead generation.
- Follow the process when connecting and following up with potential patients
- Develop better and more effective way to connect with our potential patients
- Follow the process of topics to talk with patients and document everything in our Company CRM (Netsuite)
- Verifying patient insurance on the Company’s CRM system and determine levels of coverage/estimated payment responsibility.

Essential:
- Previous experience in a sales environment with at least 1 year working as a tele-sales representative or similar.
- Personable and effective communicator, comfortable dealing with various situations.
- Organised, able to prioritise their own workload and manage their own time with minimal supervision.
- Effective collaborator with various teams and departments, and able to offer suggestions and contribute to meetings.
- Effective persuasion and negotiating skills, able to use sales techniques to find positive outcomes for patients.
- Is emotionally aware and able to handle own emotions, as well as respond to others appropriately.
- Be proficient in using technology with familiarity with calendars, word processing, and data entry systems (CRMs).
- Confident and enthusiastic about our products and reaching out to potential leads/patients.
- Have an awareness of HIPAA legislation and how it applies in practice.

Desirable:
- Familiarity or confidence using Netsuite systems.
- Experience in the medical device (or relevant medical) manufacturing environment.
- A Bachelors degree or similar in communications or similar isn’t essential but would be advantageous.
- Experience in prosthetics, particularly upper limb, would be advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with working with startups and a willingness to wear multiple hats to achieve results.
- Experience working in a standalone role would be advantageous.
