A Bit About Sibel Health:
With headquarters based in Chicago, Illinois and an international office in Seoul, South Korea, Sibel Health is an award-winning digital health startup with a mission to deliver Better Health Data for All®. We were founded with a specific focus on our most vulnerable patients—pregnant persons and babies—where we believe wireless monitoring has the potential to do the most good worldwide. We achieve this by providing a complete monitoring solution of advanced wireless wearables, best in class software, and novel AI/ML algorithms all linked to the cloud. To date, we’ve launched our technologies in 20 countries from the most advanced hospitals in the world to the most resource constrained locations. We work with some of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world from major philanthropies to large medical technology and pharmaceutical companies. With numerous FDA clearances and a recently completed fundraising round, we are poised for growth and expansion. We are seeking mission-driven individuals with a strong sense of purpose who believe that technology can improve the lives of our most vulnerable patients.

What You Will Be Working On:
- Develop models for novel digital biomarkers (for example, biomarkers related to Parkinson’s disease) for deployment in cloud computing and edge devices.
- Develop algorithms to extract vital signs such as Heart Rate and SpO2 optimized for real-time use from ECG, PPG, etc.
- Develop cross-platform signal processing pipelines and systems for resource constrained devices.
- Creating classifiers / machine learning models based on aggregated data.
- Test and validate your works based on open-source database such as Physionet and UCR library and regulatory standards.
- Doing ad-hoc analysis and data manipulation for small scale datasets.
- Identify, examine, and interpret anomaly observed in the data pipeline.
About You:
- 4+ years of experience building algorithms with physiological time series data (ideally Accelerometer, ECG/EMG, Photoplethysmography)
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/GCP)
- Solid understanding of DSP fundamentals including frequency domain analysis, filtering and underlying mathematics.
- Comprehensive understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including but not limited to Neural Network, SVM, linear/logistic regression.
- Proficiency in or familiarity with programming languages (we are primarily a Python and C/C++ shop)
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to prepare, build, investigate, and distribute big data with consideration of detail and precision.
- BS/MS in CS/EE/Math/Physics or related fields.
