Project Manager (f/m/d)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, who can plans and executes activities for new product development to ensure that all projects are delivered within scope, on-time, and within budget.  This role is located in Stuttgart, Germany and reports to the Senior Project Manager on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives
• Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources (internal and external to department and company) in an effective and efficient manner
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
• Track project costs to meet budget
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Report project status on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and adjust and report as needed
• Measure and report project performance to identify areas for improvement

Qualifications & Competencies

• Working experience in engineering or product development environment
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field
• 5+ years of project management and related experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other certification strongly preferred
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, and tenacious follow-up and follow-through are required
• Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience managing projects through the full life cycle
• Solid organizational skills and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
