Responsibilities
The Department of Neuroscience at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center invites applicants at the Instructor level for a faculty position. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or related field and have at least 5 years’ experience working on Neuroscience research projects. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The selected applicant will serve in a leadership role in a research laboratory helping to mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers and will work on an independent research project within an overall scientific focus of the laboratory, specifically focused on Foxp-regulated signaling pathways in brain development. The Department of Neuroscience is a core component of the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute at UT Southwestern.
