Financial Analyst

Responsible for advanced-level financial record keeping, analysis of complex financial data, and reporting to the C-suite and board of directors. Specifically, track 30+ projects using variance and earned value analysis to ensure predicted cashflow and completion of milestones for each project; coordinate monthly update meetings with each Project manager to go over variance analysis, expenses, and labor costs, and forecast the financial needs of the project for the month ahead; analyze complex accounting and statistical information to prepare financial statements; provide monthly profit/loss statements and coordinate due diligence documents for shareholders and potential investors; analyze and evaluate capital investments, depreciation, proposals, investment prospects, rate of return, profit projections, operating records and financial statements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a similar field;
• proven ability to analyze large databases and provide statistical outcomes; and to use Excel formulas to create complex spreadsheets for P&L and budget analysis;
• willing to work under pressure to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals and willing to weekends, including Sundays, when needed.
