Biospective is looking for a System Integration Technician to join our Technology team.
As the System Integration Technician, you will have a multidisciplinary role that blends system administration, cloud resources implementation and maintenance, and integration of SaaS solutions.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and implement cloud resources, optimize existing cloud resources, and integrate business-critical SaaS tools. The System Integration Technician plays an important role in the team’s efforts to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
We are looking for an individual with a diverse set of skills and who functions just as well in a collaborative setting as independently.
Responsibilities for this position:
- Cloud Resource Management: Oversee and monitor Azure cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Infrastructure Automation: Develop, maintain, and optimize automated processes for system provisioning and operations.
- SaaS Integration: Collaborate with business units to integrate essential SaaS platforms like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Jira into our existing systems.
- API-based Solutions: Create and maintain API calls for seamless data flow and operational efficiency between SaaS solutions and internal systems.
- DevOps and IaC: Participate in the development and management of DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously assess system performance and security, applying updates or changes as necessary.
- Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Remain current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and proactively suggest new tools and processes to improve operational efficiency.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or DEC in related Technology field
- Experience with Cloud Services (designing, managing and monitoring cloud resources).
- Strong Programming knowledge including Python
- Experience integrating SaaS solutions like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Jira using APIs.
- Experience with Unix/Linux software development and tools (Ubuntu)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual French and English
Preferred Skills and/or Abilities:
- Experience or interest in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices
- Experience or interest in working with Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Experience or interest in project management software e.g., Jira.
- Experience with web application deployment and management, particularly in Azure.
