Biospective is looking for a System Integration Technician to join our Technology team.

As the System Integration Technician, you will have a multidisciplinary role that blends system administration, cloud resources implementation and maintenance, and integration of SaaS solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and implement cloud resources, optimize existing cloud resources, and integrate business-critical SaaS tools. The System Integration Technician plays an important role in the team’s efforts to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

 

We are looking for an individual with a diverse set of skills and who functions just as well in a collaborative setting as independently.

 

Responsibilities for this position:

  • Cloud Resource Management: Oversee and monitor Azure cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Develop, maintain, and optimize automated processes for system provisioning and operations.
  • SaaS Integration: Collaborate with business units to integrate essential SaaS platforms like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Jira into our existing systems.
  • API-based Solutions: Create and maintain API calls for seamless data flow and operational efficiency between SaaS solutions and internal systems.
  • DevOps and IaC: Participate in the development and management of DevOps best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously assess system performance and security, applying updates or changes as necessary.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Remain current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and proactively suggest new tools and processes to improve operational efficiency.

 

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or DEC in related Technology field
  • Experience with Cloud Services (designing, managing and monitoring cloud resources).
  • Strong Programming knowledge including Python
  • Experience integrating SaaS solutions like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or Jira using APIs.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux software development and tools (Ubuntu)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual French and English

 

Preferred Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Experience or interest in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices
  • Experience or interest in working with Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Experience or interest in project management software e.g., Jira.
  • Experience with web application deployment and management, particularly in Azure.
