Clinical Account Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for launching new hospital accounts with the Area Clinical Manager (ACM) and Territory Sales Manager (TSM) and driving adoption of the BrainScope technology in the installed base of hospital customers within the territory
  • Educate and train physicians, nurses and hospital personnel on the merits and proper clinical usage of BrainScope as the foundation for growth
  • Conduct ongoing customer site visits to drive new and existing account adoption. Identify key, high influence contacts in each account and develop relationships to gain support for BrainScope.
  • Proactively identify barriers to utilization; propose and implement solutions to drive adoption. Act as lead for issue resolution within assigned accounts. Works to schedule other BrainScope resources to execute on strategies to resolve utilization barriers
  • Build advocacy and champions within facilities and advocate to make BrainScope the standard of care within the hospital system
  • Conduct refresher and/or new staff training
  • Monitor, track, and report on post go-live metrics, including utilization
  • Educate customers on device enhancements or upgrades as well as communicate available trainings
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, or trade shows as required
  • Maintain detailed reporting for proper management of territory and accounts within company CRM. Responsible for monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as up-to-date activity reporting.
  • Present account reviews at regular intervals
  • Maintains knowledge of customers, the market, industry trends, competitors, and leading competitive strategies.
  • Strong project management skill requirement to support new account launches
  • Troubleshoot workflow solutions for departments as need arises
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

 

Requirements:

  • RN with previous direct patient care experience and a demonstrated ability to manage a disruptive technology in the hospital market (specifically in the ED)
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience working in an emergency department
  • Strong communication and influence skills and the ability to present material in an articulate and knowledgeable way
  • Ability to conduct opportunity discussions and execute a plan to increase utilization.
  • Ability to assess workflow and address stakeholder concerns and propose solutions
  • Travel within the territory is at least 75%, including some overnights and occasional weekends.
  • Project management skills are a plus
  • 1+ year or more experience with direct customer account management with a medical device used for patient care by medical personnel (disposables)
  • Strong data analytics and ability to use sales operations tools such as CRM and Excel
