Job Summary
Neuroscience RPA seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to assist in all aspects of the NeuroBank, a neuroscience-focused biobank. This person will assist the program coordinator in consenting patients, collecting and processing human samples, and managing clinical and regulatory data. This job will provide training for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to gain proficiency in consenting patients for clinical research, interacting with residents, nurses, physicians, and clinical coordinators, benchtop skills for processing different human samples and isolating various fractions from biofluids, and opportunities to learn data entry in clinical databases such as RedCap and OnCore, with the purpose of contributing human samples to ongoing neuroscience-related research projects at UK.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Skills/Knowledge: Pipetting, Benchtop experience, Centrifuge, Spreadsheets, EPIC, RedCap, OnCore.
Abilities:
- Good interpersonal communication skills. Consenting/clinical research or phlebotomy experience is helpful.
