As a Clinical Cardiac Consultant, you will promote these lifesaving products in a world that contains no other product like it. You will be responsible for developing new accounts, growing existing accounts, & ensuring technical and clinical support to customers through case support, hands-on training, and presentations. It is critical for you to understand this will not be an easy job. There may be several overnights involved and you will be responsible for account growth and development in a very short amount of time. You will primarily be working in a hospital environment (Cath Lab, CVICU, OR, CTICU), so you must have a strong knowledge of cardiac Cath lab, cardiac surgery, CVICU critical care skills, and hospital operations.
Cardiac Clinical Consultant representatives will need to have a clinical background, preferably with Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Surgical ICU or Cardiac O.R. experience. You will be traveling regularly and need to be able to support clinical sites on short notice. It is critical to your success in this role to understand cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology and hemodynamics; general knowledge of cardiac and respiratory ECLS supports systems is also essential. This opportunity possesses dual responsibilities; you will educate and build new business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in a hospital environment (Cardiac Cath Lab, Perfusion, Cardiovascular ICU/Critical Care, etc) or sales experience in the medical device industry is required.
- Demonstrated experience in case support and technical/clinical assistance to cardiologists/cardiac surgeons
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Clinical Certification (CCP, RN, RT, etc) is required
