Summary Statement

Working closely with management and key stakeholders, the Corporate Strategy and M&A/PMI department conducts strategic planning processes, develops key strategic initiatives and monitors their progress. In the M&A/PMI area, we are also responsible for acquisitions and integration processes at a global level. In the last three years we have successfully completed numerous strategy projects and more than 25 M&A projects. Strengthen this cross-functional team – with a focus on M&A/PMI – and work on challenging and important projects at Ottobock.

Duties & Responsibilities

• M&A:
  • Identification and analysis of possible targets and initiation of transactions
  • Management of due diligence processes
  • Supporting the contract negotiations
  • Creating business plans and company valuations
• Post Merger Integration (PMI):
  • Development of integration concepts and target operating models 
  • Milestone and financial tracking of PMI processes

Profile

• Successfully completed master’s degree or MBA
• Relevant professional experience in a leading management consultancy or the strategy/M&A department of a large international company
• Preferably experience with business valuations, due diligence and post-merger integration processes
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills as well as a solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Open personality and team player
