Job Role & Responsibilities
As a Clinical Educator at Firefly Neuroscience, you will be an integral part of our mission to ensure our BNA platform’s effective adoption and utilization. You will collaborate closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs teams to provide comprehensive education and training to healthcare professionals, enabling them to maximize the benefits of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Developing Educational Programs: Create and customize educational materials, presentations, and training modules tailored to the needs of various healthcare audiences, including physicians, nurses, and technicians.
- Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations in person and virtually. These sessions will equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to use our medical devices confidently and proficiently.
- Clinical Support: Provide clinical expertise to address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance to healthcare professionals using our products in real-world clinical settings.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, medical associations, and healthcare institutions. Collaborate with these stakeholders to organize and participate in educational events, seminars, and conferences.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from healthcare professionals during training sessions and interactions. Communicate this valuable information to the product development and marketing teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Market Insights: Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in medical technology. Utilize this knowledge to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of educational programs.
- Travel: This is a National Territory. The ability to travel frequently is a must, and the amount (and extent) will vary, as will the locations across the US.
Internal and Administrative
- Reports all market, account, and competitive information and trends (e.g., key decision makers, procedure rate) in a complete and timely fashion to the corporation
- Immediately and accurately reports all negative customer or product-related events, e.g., customer feedback or other (legal) issues and risks, etc.
- Carries out all administrative duties (expense reports, etc.) and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner
- Attends all required regional and national meetings
- You hold a valid driver’s license and passport and can access all public transportation services.
Knowledge, Expertise, and Experience
- A Ph.D. in Neuroscience is preferred. An RN, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field or other relevant clinical certification will be considered.
- MUST have experience with performing and analyzing EEG in a clinical setting.
- Minimum of five years of experience in clinical education, medical device training, or a related field.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, able to convey complex medical information understandably.
- Proficiency in using various training methodologies and tools, including digital platforms for virtual training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with healthcare professionals of diverse backgrounds and simplify complex concepts.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to conduct in-person training sessions, customer meetings, sales meetings, and attend industry events.
- Experience using CRM tools, account management methodologies, and processes.
- Proven ability to effectively operate and communicate in a matrix environment and work effectively with physician and administrative stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
- Highly motivated, “can do” attitude.
