The Role:
We are looking for an FPGA Engineer who can apply their knowledge and experience in digital design, to develop complex FPGA projects for a state-of-the-art optical medical devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, reviewing and carrying out work packages. Design, development, and testing of iterative product prototypes, with aim of getting a product to manufacture.
Responsibilities:
Deliver an FPGA based system for use in feasibility studies & clinical trials
Risk analysis, testing plans & protocols for FPGA design
Collaborate with the R&D team to discuss product ideas, concepts and issues
Present product designs to management and stakeholders
Hands-on prototyping: in-house and external
Detailed, scientific approach to report writing and documentation.
Skills & Experience:
3+ years industry experience in hands-on FPGA design
Comprehensive understanding of clock domain crossing techniques
Excellent theoretical background in digital electronics
