Summary Statement

This role is not just about communication – it is about positioning Global IT (G-IT) as a key stakeholder that works closely with Ottobock’s diverse specialist departments worldwide. Our goal is to act as a business enabler and to communicate the extensive central IT service portfolio, consisting of IT infrastructure and applications, in a way that is easy to understand for all target groups. As part of suitable change and adoption measures, it is our task to demonstrate the added value of “IT” in order to achieve a sustainable increase in efficiency throughout the entire organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development, planning, implementation and follow-up of events within IT (e.g., Cyber Security Week) with a focus on easy-to-understand communication
• Responsibility for the planning and content implementation of G-IT communication at Ottobock with a clear focus on the needs of end users
• Definition and presentation of suitable change and adoption measures for sustainable and user-friendly use of the IT service portfolio as well as definition and establishment of associated reporting 
• Conception, definition and development of IT/business communities with a focus on easy-to-understand language for non-IT experts
• Creation/maintenance of the G-IT Lifecycle Communication Kit with a clear focus on user-friendliness and comprehensibility

Profile

• Completed studies (BA/MA) in the field of communication, journalism or a related discipline
• Professional experience (at least 3-5 years) in corporate communications/marketing/agency at national or international level with a focus on IT topics (alternatively digitalization, research & development) or
• Basic understanding of IT with the willingness to communicate complex topics in an easily understandable way
• Confident appearance and strong communication and moderation skills
• Experience in stakeholder management, from top management to IT SMEs and end users 
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Strategic thinking, curiosity and creativity round off your profile
