Position Summary

As an IT Applications Manager, you will become an integral part of our mission, supporting the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of IT applications across all business areas. Your responsibility will be to ensure that our software and applications architecture aligns seamlessly with our business objectives, complies with the industry regulations, are properly secured, documented and performance

What Will You Do

• Together with the IT Director to strategize on applications and architecture that supports both internal and external services.
• Serve as the liaison between business users and IT teams/suppliers, defining requirements and crafting proposals.
• Oversee and contribute with your technical expertise in the whole lifecycle of applications, design, development, testing deployment, documentation, and maintenance of applications.
• Spot opportunities for process improvements and recommend application enhancements, focusing on automation, workflows, and system interoperability.
• Train end-users on application usage and offer ongoing support, troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.
• Administer and monitor applications to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

What Do You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consultancy, analyst or application development, preferably  in the life sciences industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in deploying and maintaining business applications such as ERP systems, CRM, Business intelligence, integration and collaboration spaces.
• Minimum of 3 years of Experience in designing and implementing the architecture of modern applications and the whole applications lifecycle. 

You Will Be The Perfect Fit If You Are/Have

• Experience in supporting and implementing applications in the life science industry eQMS,  CTMS, LIMS, eCTD, etc. 
• Experience creating low-code/no-code solutions, workflows and automations, using tools such as Outsystem, UIPath, Salesforce, Sharepoint, Airtable or others.
• IT Management and Project management certifications (PMI, Agile, ITIL,..) 
• Experience in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
• Experience working with devops and CI/CD.
• Commitment to detailed documentation, ensuring transparency and effective knowledge transfer within the team.
• Demonstrated ability to uphold a high standard of orderliness and systematic planning in a dynamic work environment
• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Show initiative in setting and meeting goals within an environment of managed change
• Ability to work under pressure, responsible for multiple vital tasks in parallel
