We are currently seeking a Product Assembly Technician in our Rockaway, NJ HQ. This position is responsible for:
- Assembly of the company’s medical devices for use by patients, HCPs, company representatives, and related personnel
- Programming of devices with the company’s proprietary device operating software
- Preparation of packaging materials for devices and related materials
- Perform packaging and labeling operations of product for movement into finished goods
- Completion of required quality control / quality assurance operations as they relate to the company’s products
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Prepare the company’s product for assembly and programming operations (e.g., power-on / charging test)
- Program the company’s devices in accordance with established work instructions, travel tickets, and related specifications
- Perform ultrasonic welding of product in accordance with established work instructions, travel tickets, and related specifications
- Prepare packaging materials, including the assembly of finished product boxes, gathering /provision of required literature (e,g, Instructions for Use, Warnings/ISI Cards, Getting Started cards) for inclusion in the finished package.
- Performing any required in-process inspection operations and documenting the results on appropriate production and/or inspection records
- Ensuring required production and quality systems documentation has been completed in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing / production environment or technical field is preferred
- Aptitude for math and written / language skills.
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects at one time
- Good working computer skills; knowledge of MS Excel and Word helpful.
Other Physical Demands
- Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
