What you’ll do at Elekta

As an Administrative Assistant at Elekta are you responsible for the administration related work at Elekta’s Helsinki site. The Administrative Assistant will have the important role of supporting the local leadership with their daily work and administrative tasks as well as being responsible for organizing internal and external meetings and preparing various presentations and documents.
To succeed in this role, we think you are a person with high integrity, you are flexible and have a can-do attitude. You can set structure and be effective in a job with many different and variational work tasks, but the most important is that you have an eye for details.

 

The right stuff 

The Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • running a wide range of administrative tasks supporting the whole Helsinki site, with the local leadership team as the main stakeholders
  • preparing presentations, meeting minutes and other supportive documents
  • calendar management and appointment booking
  • travel arrangements
  • organizing high quality internal and external meetings and events
  • supporting purchases and related POs
  • managing different administration related projects

 

What you bring

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in e.g. assistant or administrative functions or customer service role, preferably in an international corporate environment
  • Solid experience with MS Office tools (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Can-do attitude, enthusiastic and willing to take on new challenges
  • Trustworthy, ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset and a proactive way of working
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English
  • Experience in project management and ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
  • Work experience in an R&D environment is considered an asset
